Swell Touch Paper

Swell Touch Paper is a specialist heat-activated paper onto which images can be printed and made into high-quality tactile graphics. Use a printer, photocopier or Swell Touch Marker to quickly produce durable graphics with varying heights, patterns and textures. These graphics are reusable, allowing them to be shared and enjoyed repeatedly.

Creating a tactile graphic is as simple as drawing or printing on Swell Touch Paper and running it through the Swell Form Graphics Machine. The black elements will swell and are ready to be touched immediately. Swell Touch Paper is formulated to work in synergy with the Swell Form Machine and Swell Touch Markers to deliver accurate, effective tactile graphics.

How It Works

Swell Touch Paper has two sides – a white, slightly textured surface and a smooth liner. Graphics are printed or drawn on the textured side. The paper features a specialized coating that is non-toxic and safe for all users. When black lines or carbon-based inks are applied and the paper is exposed to heat in the Swell Form Graphics Machine, these areas swell to create raised tactile elements. Coloured inks can also be applied for visual appeal, though they do not swell. The result is a durable tactile graphic that can be used and shared multiple times.
