The Swell Form Graphics Machine provides a simple, fast and cost-effective way to create tactile graphics, text, maps and more. Designed for use with Swell Touch Paper, it is ready to be used immediately once it is turned on and only takes seconds to swell a graphic with one pass. After switching it on, simply feed the paper through the input tray. As the paper is exposed to heat, black-inked areas swell to form clear, durable tactile graphics in seconds, ready to be examined by touch.
The Swell Form Machine’s compact design allows for easy placement in any setting, while temperature control and heavy-duty fans ensure graphics can be processed safely and handled immediately. Auto shut-off features prevent paper jams and ensure proper feeding.

Free pre-made tactile diagrams are available at TactileLibrary.com, or custom graphics can be created using a computer and printer/copier, or by drawing directly on the paper with Swell Touch Markers.

How It Works
The Swell Form Graphics Machine is used with Swell Touch Paper, which has two sides – a white, slightly textured surface and a smooth liner. Graphics are printed or drawn on the textured side. The paper features a specialized coating that is non-toxic and safe for all users. When black lines or carbon-based inks are applied and the paper is exposed to heat in the Swell Form Graphics Machine, these areas swell to create raised tactile elements. Coloured inks can also be applied for visual appeal, though they do not swell. The result is a durable tactile graphic that can be used and shared multiple times.
