System Requirements

To run the latest version of JAWS, ZoomText and Fusion, please ensure that your computer meets the below system requirements.

Software Requirements:

• Windows 11, Windows 10, Windows Server 2022, Windows Server 2019 or Windows Server 2016, with latest updates installed (JAWS supports the x64 architecture for all operating systems and provides additional support for the ARM64 architecture on Windows 11 operating systems)
• MS Office 365, 2021 or 2019, with latest Service Packs and updates installed
• Chrome or Firefox (latest release)
• Acrobat Reader DC (latest release)

** Windows must be installed from the original Installation Media, as imaged installations are not supported. **

Hardware Requirements:

• CPU: Minimum Intel Core i5 2.0 GHz, recommended i7 3.0 GHz
• Memory: Minimum 8 GB, recommended 16 GB
• HDD: Minimum 10 GB free hard disk space, SSD recommended
• USB: 2.0 high-speed, recommended 3.0 required for high-speed video and imaging devices
• Display: Display card drivers (system specific) dated after Jan 2022 and must support DirectX 11 or later
• Sound: Sound card drivers (system specific) dated after Jan 2022 with speakers or headset
