JAWS Basics with Windows

The module offers an instructor-led classroom/workshop experience with supporting hands-on exercises. The JAWS Basics with Windows module will provide the participant with the skills to change basic settings in the JAWS screen reading software like preferred synthesizer, speech rate,  typing echo, verbosity levels and many other options that will provide the user with an enhanced listening experience. The Windows aspect will focus on file management, navigation within the Windows user interface, searching for files, folders and programs and general customisation of Windows for a better user experience.
