Mandatory Update for MathType 7 on Windows

The following notice has been released by Wiris on 6 February 2025:

Dear MathType user,

We are writing to inform you that several users are experiencing an issue where valid product keys are wrongly detected as expired, not allowing MathType to be opened and used.

Whether you have experienced this issue or not, we strongly recommend that you update to the latest version.

We apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused and thank you in advance for your collaboration.

If you find any technical issues after the update, please do not hesitate to contact our Technical Support team at support@wiris.com.

Note: This only applies to you if you are using MathType 7 for Windows.

If you already downloaded it in the last two weeks, please ignore this notice.
