Sensory Solutions (Pty) Ltd is a South African company with considerable experience in the field of accommodating persons who are visually impaired – i.e. who are either blind or partially sighted. We specialise in the field of providing Assistive Technology solutions for individuals, schools, universities, government departments etc, in particular to make the work environment more accessible for the visually impaired. We are approved African distributors for a wide range of Assistive Technology products selected specifically for their suitability to the African environment and our specific situation. We are proud to be appointed exclusive and preferred dealerships for some of the world’s most leading Assistive Technology manufacturers. Our mission and ethos revolve around our fellow man, empowering them to function to their fullest potential.

Use of Site

You may only use this site to browse the content, make legitimate purchases and shall not use this site for any other purposes, including without limitation, to make any speculative, false or fraudulent purchase. Product Warranty

All products sold on this site carry their full manufacturer’s warranty as stipulated by the official South African distributor, unless otherwise specified. Such warranty is usually, but not limited to, 12 months and if not stipulated on this website can be requested by contacting info@sensorysolutions.co.za. Items under warranty must be sent to the Sensory Solutions (Pty) Ltd service centre for repair or replacement. Such Manufacturer Guarantee is restricted to the costs of repair or replacement of faulty goods or refund of the purchase price at the sole discretion of Sensory Solutions (Pty) Ltd and its suppliers after investigation and/or testing of goods.

All Hardware Manufacturer Guarantees are immediately null and void if equipment has been tampered with, warranty stickers have been removed, seals on equipment have been broken by anyone other than the manufacturer’s representative or if the goods have been operated outside the manufacturer’s specifications.

Under no circumstances will Sensory Solutions (Pty) Ltd be liable for any damage arising from any misuse or abuse of the goods. Sensory Solutions (Pty) Ltd cannot be held responsible for any data loss whatsoever for any equipment returned for exchange or repair.

Please ensure that all software is compatible with your current hardware and operating system as Sensory Solutions (Pty) Ltd cannot be held responsible for system incompatibilities. Our Rights

We reserve the right to:

  1. modify or withdraw, temporarily or permanently, the Website (or any part of) including any product or services offered with or without notice to you and you confirm that we shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification to or withdrawal of the Website; and/or

Product availability

Lead time is dependent on stock availability. Ex-stock items will be dispatched within 2 to 3 days from receipt of payment.

Non-stock items lead time will be provided on confirmation of order, normally between 1 to 6 weeks which will allow for manufacturing and delivery to our warehouse.

Although every effort will be made to effect shipment of your order timeously, unforeseen circumstances may cause delays, at which point Sensory Solutions (Pty) Ltd will contact you via email to provide a revised delivery schedule.


Delivery will be arranged upon order confirmation and payment, from our Head Office in accordance with product availability.

Dependent on the physical size of the order and delivery location, courier delivery will be overnight, next day or road freight. Tracking information will be provided.

Please ensure the correct shipping address is provided from the outset as title and risk will pass to you once the order has left our premises.

Undeliverable packages

Occasionally packages are returned to us undeliverable. Should this event take place every attempt will be made to contact you to make arrangements for re-shipment. All costs for re-shipment will be for the client’s account.

Order processing

Order processing will not begin until we receive a confirmed order and full payment.

Refunds/returns Policy

Refunds without cost penalties will only be considered:

  1. were goods were purchased which has not been seen before the purchase,
  2. goods do not meet the particular purpose it was purchased.

For the above to be considered, Sensory Solutions (Pty) Ltd must be made aware of the intend to return the goods within 5 working days from delivery. Goods must be returned in its original condition and repackaged in their original packaging which must include all accessories (i.e. chargers, manual, CD’s, cables, bags, etc.) which was supplied with the product. Sensory Solutions (Pty) Ltd reserves the right to reasonably adjust the refund amount to compensate for damaged or missing product or accessories.
Should you for any other reason wish to cancel your purchase a 15% handling fee will be applicable. You must advise us in writing of your cancellation and any such cancellation must be signed by the person who made the original purchase. The goods must be returned to us undamaged in the original packaging within 14 calendar days.

Refund payments will only be processed once goods have been received and inspected at the Sensory Solutions (Pty) Ltd offices. Deductions for damaged and lost items will be communicated before any refund payment is processed.

Sensory Solutions (Pty) Ltd recommends that you use The Courier Guy Couriers for all returns as it offers shipment tracking. All courier fees will be for the account of the client. Should you choose to use a carrier that does not offer a tracking facility and the goods are lost then no refund or return will be considered.
International customers should make use of a courier that offers:

  • Shipment tracking.
  • Insure your package for safe return and declare the full value of the shipment failing which loss or damage will be for your account.

Payment Options and Pricing

All transactions will be processed in South African Rand (ZAR), unless otherwise stated.

Sensory Solutions (Pty) Ltd endeavours to offer you competitive prices on current products; your total order price will include the price of the purchase plus any applicable sales tax and shipping charges where required.

Sensory Solutions (Pty) Ltd reserves the right to change pricing at any time without prior notice.

Payment options

Currently only EFT (Electronic Fund Transfer) payments is offered.

Once you have added items to your shopping cart, proceed to “Checkout” and follow the order processing instructions. On receipt of the electronic order by Sensory Solutions (Pty) Ltd, we will email a pro-forma invoice and if accepted, payment must be made via EFT to the Sensory Solutions (Pty) Ltd bank account.

Delivery Policy

The site does not allow for on-line payment to be processed, but merely facilitates your order. Once the order is placed, a confirmation email will be sent to the purchaser which will provide details of your order and stock availability.

You must not make any purchase through this site unless you understand and agree all our terms and conditions. Once payment is made for the purchase, it is deemed that you have read and understood the terms and conditions for such purchase. I understand that all the designs and trademarks are registered to Sensory Solutions Pty Ltd and hereby accept the terms and conditions. I undertake not to copy/duplicate the trademarks and designs directly or indirectly in anyway and understand the legal implications thereof. Should I be found to be in violation of this agreement I understand that I will be held liable for all legal costs incurred by Sensory Solutions (Pty) Ltd for any civil action or any legal action deemed necessary against me.
